PLEASE PRAY FOR

• Riley, my six year old grandson with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma as he begins chemotherapy, round three on Monday, Jan. 11th, for protection from harsh effects of chemo and maximum healing. ~ Beverlee
• One of my nursery volunteers. Her mother is ill and in the care of a local hospital and her father is having heart problems and shortness of breath. ~ Jill
• God’s continued protection, provision and plan for Access Ministry in 2010 and for Kingdom Impact. ~ Jackie
• For Bryant, Janet, Melissa and Cheryl and their health. ~ Mark
• The Holy Spirit to guide my heart and mind this week as I face reconciliation. ~ Melanie
• Salvation for family; healing of my tinnitus, but that if it is not God’s will that He will make me know that it is to be a thorn in the flesh; blessings for my men’s group.
• Percy. He has been in the hospital since December 30th with kidney failure and is a diabetic. I pray that someone will take the gospel to his NY hospital bed. May God have mercy on him and heal him.
• Bob. He has surgery on Friday and will go home the following day. Pray for wisdom of doctors and that his body heals quickly. Please continue to pray for his Rita, for complete healing from heart surgery she had on November 19th and complete restoration of vision lost as a result of strokes in September 2009.
• Our friend Rosa’s sister who was just diagnosed with stomach cancer. Please pray for her family.
• Strength of spirit, mind and body for Don as he lives with the effects of renal failure and dialysis. Pray for our 35 year old daughter and mother of two young boys who has just been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Donna will be operated on January 12th. Please pray for the Lord’s hands and mind to be present in her doctors. Pray for peace for her and her wonderful husband Chris who has just returned from his second tour in Iraq.
• Blessings and healing for my brother who needs a kidney.
• My aunt Pat who has brain cancer. Please pray she responds to her treatments, that she can continue the clinical trial, and the Lord continues to answer our prayers concerning her illness and recovery. Please also pray for her husband, daughter and her sister Paige as well as all those who love her dearly. ~Rhonda
• Peaceful living in my new apartment. ~ Zechary
• My brother who has been out of work for 1 ½ years. He is a Christian, has four children and could be evicted from his home. Pray for a job, he was laid off from his last position. ~ Martea
• My wife Maria who is sick with breast cancer and going through chemotherapy. Please pray for our family. ~ Juan
• Wisdom and peace. ~ Anita
• My growth in my relationship with Jesus Christ. My kids as they journey into adulthood, that God will lead them and show them how to be men of God; that my daughter will have a breakthrough with her learning and have health. That God will guide me in my relationship. Please also pray that I will get control of my finances and give financial glory to God. ~ Keithia

  • Jerry’s safe return home from overseas. He goes back to Africa December 1st for a week. Also, our daughter, Sarah, is home for Thanksgiving form her first semester in college. We’ve got to drive down to Lynchburg and back in one day to pick her up. We are very thankful for safety during the trip. ~ Jerry and Sharon
  • the opportunity to spend a week with my daughter. Thank God for healing in our bodies for my family.
  • thank you, God, for sending us your son Jesus Christ who died for my sins, for your Holy Spirit. God I give you the Praise, Honor and Adoration, that only You deserve. Forgive me for all my sins. I confess each of them. Thank you forever and always. ~ Joyce

  • my friend Bonnie who has been diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. She is starting a 14 week double dose of chemo to try to shrink the tumor and put it in remission. Please pray for wisdom for her doctors in treating her and for her strength to persevere through this debilitating disease. That God would use this time to being her and her family closer to him.   • my father who is going to have heart surgery (replacing a valve) before the end of the year.  And my mother as she goes through this time and the changes it will bring to their life. ~ Don
  • Don. For three years plus, I have been praying for him. We want to thank you so much and tell you how much your prayers have sustained Don’s strength of spirit and body as he deals with the difficulties inherent in dialysis 4 days per week.   • our daughter, Laurel, who suffers with migraines and arthritis from chronic Lyme disease. Please pray for encouragement for her.   • Paul, who has been struggling with a persistent cough over the last 3-4 weeks. A scan last week showed he has several spots/masses on his lungs. It could be lung caner or “Valley Fever”, and infection of the lungs that can show up on a scan and look like lung cancer. Paul will have a lung biopsy, November 30th. He and his wife Gloria are Christians. ~ Marcella
  • James, for lyme’s disease. Melissa, for breast cancer and chronic pain. Cheryl, for depression and chronic pain. Betty, for an unknown illness. ~ Mark and Janet
  • Luke and his family as he must undergo surgery to have a PEG feeding tube inserted into his stomach region from which he would receive the majority of his daily caloric intake since he cannot eat most foods. Once this is done, he will need to have therapy to retrain him to eat foods that provide nutritional value. ~ Isabelle
  • our 6 old year grandson Riley who was diagnosed with stage four Lymphoma the end of last week. His test results are at NIH to determine if it is Hodgkin’s or non-Hodgkin’s disease. Please pray for the correct diagnosis and treatment, for complete healing, for protection of Riley’s health and that he can tolerate the treatments well. ~ Beverlee
  • those impacted by a situation at my husband’s work last Friday. A gentleman who worked for my husband, a beloved friend and colleague, took his own life. He was a believer, not just in words but in deeds, and the nearly standing room only funeral yesterday testified to a life lived in service to others. Please pray for the many who will miss him and his three surviving children and also for my husband who is trying to take care of so many during this crisis. ~ Heidi
