While I was in college, I sold books door-to-door one summer as a way to earn some money. It was a hard job. We had been trained to deliver a sales pitch at every door. As a Christian, we have been given an assignment from God to deliver a message (found concisely in the three verses above). That message is to go to every door. If our livelihood depended on the money we made from sharing Jesus, what would be our income status? It’s time to store up some treasures in heaven!
